Comhaltas Ballinspittle

What a way to round off our first full week back to school. We felt so lucky to be visited by the Comhaltas Ballinspittle under 12 music group, who placed 2nd in the Fleadh and the under 12 céilí band who are all Ireland champions. We were completely captivated and under the spell of these talented musicians!! Feet were tapping, hands were clapping and the whole audience were transported with the storytelling of the music. We are bursting with pride for our own 5th and 6th class pupils in these groups. We have Tom Reardon and Hayley Nield who played in the music group and Conor O' Riordáin and Ava O' Donoghue who played in the music group and the céilí band. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Rosaire Cagney and Aine Teape, another wonderful past pupil, for taking the time to come to Ballinadee N.S. with the group today.
