“Things are upside down but we are working it out together”
This week sixth class have been busy getting back to work after the Easter break. Each day we sign in to our emails and begin our daily tasks. It’s a little different to being in the classroom and we miss this but we are getting used to it and throwing ourselves into different projects at home.
English; We wrote stories. We had to choose one idea from three assigned titles and write a story based on that idea. Many of the stories were recounts, recalling pass experiences. Some of these experiences were factual and others fictional but all of the stories were enjoyable. Why not read some of our work?
Stories from the Titanic; We read and listened to live accounts from passengers on the ship. We enjoyed studying the historic events of 1912 and the ship they said was UNSINKABLE
Joe Wicks, The Body Coach is keeping us fit and we are also keeping our football and hurling skills sharp. We enjoy exercising with our brothers and sisters.
Sixth class have been tasked with designing a school building. This project will roll out over the next couple of weeks so keep an eye on our progress here. As the saying goes “Rome wasn’t built in a day!”
