We have been working hard on many subjects such as English, Irish, art, and PE. We are lucky enough to start up training on Thursdays. On Fridays we do table tennis, bench ball and skipping. In Irish we are learning about Eadai and writing stories about fashion shows. In English we have been working on typing up our adventure stories and practising touch typing. Here is some of the art we have been doing!
In other news, some pupils from Ballinadee were very lucky to take part in the Girls in Engineering event thanks to Collins Aerospace. Through zoom we got a better understanding of Engineering. We spoke with an engineer about our parachute prototype and discussed what possible changes could be made to make it work better. We listened to female engineers who spoke about some of the challenges they face in the working world. The highlight was the lab demonstration about electricity in vegetables such as potatoes. Thanks Collins Aersopace for organising!
